Events and Fundraisers
Thank you for supporting us on Giving Tuesday on December 2, 2025!
Giving Tuesday is an annual day of giving held on the first Tuesday after Thanksgiving. Following traditional days of spending, including Black Friday and Cyber Monday, Giving Tuesday showcases the saying: It’s better to GIVE than to receive.
It’s a simple idea: whether it’s making someone smile, helping a neighbor or stranger out, showing up for an issue or people we care about, or giving some of what we have to those who need our help, every act of generosity makes a difference. Help us Make Hunger History!
Please consider donating food and funds to the Glen House Food Pantry on this all-important day. The Pantry serves neighbors-in-need who live, work, or attend school in DuPage County and the need is greater than ever!
Celebration of Tables
Celebration of Tables, the Glen Ellyn Newcomers & Neighbors Club's annual fundraiser benefiting the Glen House Food Pantry, will be held on Sunday, March 3, 2024, at Arrowhead Golf Club in Wheaton. Similar to a housewalk but with tables, the event will feature tablescapes designed by local stylists to inspire hundreds of attendees looking for creative ways to entertain.
Tour of Lake Ellyn
Racing knowledge is not required, but you must be at least 18 years of age. See fast-paced, professional cycling up close around Lake Ellyn. Or, join the Family Ride, a slower-paced mid-afternoon event. Net proceeds benefit the Glen Ellyn Food Pantry.
Giving Wednesdays at Two Hound Red – All November
Visit Two Hound Red, 486 Pennsylvania Ave., Glen Ellyn, on Nov. 3, 10, and 17. Ten percent of all dine-in sales will be donated to the Pantry. And bring a can of food to donate. Call the restaurant at 630-547-2912 during regular business hours to make reservations.
Event Three
Sean Hayes will pick the winning ticket in a raffle for highly sought-after bottles of bourbon in a fundraiser for the Glen Ellyn Food Pantry that closes Oct. 10.
